On the last night of World War II in 1945, the main production building of A. Lange & Söhne was destroyed in a bombing. Years later, with the fall of the Berlin Wall, Walter A. Lange was inspired to turn his dream into reality. With determination to rebuild his family’s manufacture, A. In the 2000’s, A. Lange & Söhne joined Maison Cadrans, and has been very dear to our hearts ever since. Our Maison shares a personal connection with the resilient spirit of the German manufacture, as the main production building for A. Lange & Söhne was destroyed in a bombing on the last night of World War II.
